Kate Moross was mentioned in my tutorial with Danny, and I wanted to look a little bit more into the aesthetic of her work. She has a DIY style which is reminiscent of the style chosen for my notebooks. I can see why Danny saw a connection between the two in terms of pattern, aesthetic, colour and tone. Below shows several pieces of Moross' inspiring work which I feel I can relate with and connect with as a designer in terms of colour, aesthetic, illustration and type, especially in regards to this specific piece.

I really like how Moross has a tendency to produce a pattern and use it in different ways - something which has been suggested for this brief to allow natural expansion and development.
